Ephemeral Sculptures project explores memory, transmission, and fragility through paper sculptures documented by photography. Each sculpture begins with a single sheet of paper that is crumpled, folded, torn, and reshaped into fragile three-dimensional forms bearing the traces of gestures and time. These temporary volumes exist only briefly and are then preserved through photography, which transforms them into lasting images.
Photographed on a black background using a medium format camera, the sculptures appear as a kind of visual inventory, evoking archaeological remains or fragments of memory. The series reflects on family transmission, absence, and repair, where every fold and tear becomes a metaphor for the scars and continuities that shape personal and collective histories.
